189hp only..... (140kW)
06 model gets the same block as 06 TSX, which gives it lower internal friction and better midrange torque.

can anyone confirm if the australian k24a3 is identical internally to the k24a2 seen in the TSX?

An interesting observation:

whith the Hondata reflash the TSX engine gains only 2-3 peak hp at the wheels.

with the Jtune (sort of hondata) reflash the accord euro engine gains 10 peak hp at the wheels.

I wonder if the only difference between TSX and Accord Euro is in the tuning?

The head is not the same as far as I know and from test driving a few 06 Euros, there is no hard vtec kick like how the 06 TSX has.

The block was found to be the same in one of the threads in one of the other forums.

How about 03-05 accord euro vs 03-05 tsx?

I remember reading that the 06 TSX has the most aggressive OEM cams of any K-series engine.

I have a sneaking suspicion that 03-05 Euro is the same as 03-05 TSX except for ECU.

would it be possible to run a TSX ecu on our cars and any compatibility issues? :p

No idea. But there was that Euro owner from Iceland who sent his ECU to USA to reflash. It got fried, so they gave him a reflashed TSX ECU instead to use. His immobiliser was probably deactivated.

That is very interesting. My ECU was fried when I originally got the Jtune / Hondata ECU reflash and was replaced with a brand new one from Hondata USA and reflashed over there and sent back.

Do you get the green flashing immobiliser light on your dash? I've seen a vid of the Iceland Euro, and his was flashing.

It only flashes a few times when I turn you key to the 'OFF' position, which I think is normal from memory.
