Liverpool Exhausts Query??

Hi, i just bought a Vti-R just 2 weeks ago and i'm from Sydney. I'm gettin a exhaust from the US, its a GT Megan Muffler 3'' from ebay. To fit it with Hurricane 4-2-1 extractors, hi-flo cat, 2.25'' piping costs $900. All Mandrel Bent yeah??

Does any1 have the same muffler and does it sound good?? Also is that quote a reasonable one???

When you say "all mandrel bent yeah?" are you asking a question, or making a statement? High flow, 2.25" mandrel piping sounds just right for a DC2.
Gingangooly on these forums used to run a similar Livo setup on his VTiR with Hurricane headers as well...perhaps he can give you some input on the system.

High flow should be $250ish + catback piping $250ish + headers $450ish? = sounds about right...

As to your Ebay muffler, the brand doesn't ring a bell (but 3" tip is sweet! link/pic? :)).

I'll vouch for Livo exhausts... never done my car, but have witnessed their work.

Megan gear is pretty shabby shit - may as well buy x-force muffler, just as good.

i got 2.25 madrel bent cat-back for $250... and yeah they're work is good

Are you getting the exhaust anytime soon, because I could have a pair of hurricane 4-2-1 extractors for much cheaper than 450... in like 3 weeks if you wanted

i guess it depends on what you're after, but i went for a 2.5" system in the end (i had a 2.25" system before that.
no longer using a hurricane header, i got one of those jdm itr 4-1's, with two nice big dents in the lower part of the primaries.

as for livo's workmanship, i've used them about 5 times now for various jobs and never had a complaint. they seem better than other exhaust shops i've seen and used.

I also got mine done at livo. exhaust. Their craftman ship is ok. I wouldnt say the best. But if your on a budget then they are ok.

when you say 3" is that the inlet size or the tip? if its inlet size then you might as well not have the muffler there at all, cause its way too big!!
