fuel gauge

hey guys, my fuel gauge seems to jump alot, ill drive it maybe 100kms n it will be on full still, then ill take it another 70kms and it will go to half, then next time i drive it will be 3/4's full n then empty n then half full again, any ideas why? maybe the fuel sensor?

Mine does the same thing... The guage will show near empty, but i can still get a fair way before filling it up. Maybe a common problem?

Seems to be a common problem. used to happen with my DA9 all the time.

My fuel gauge sits on full for the first 100km, then goes straight down to 1/4 and stays there until I fill up again. Never relied on it anyway.

mine goes to the red line.. Fuel light comes on and off.. the needle starts pointing above the red line.. and slowly goes.. down.. fuel light comes on again.. repeats itself over and over..

haha Think yourself lucky, you actually HAVE a fuel light :P

My fuel light can be a bit useless. It will come on, and then after a little while the guage will show nearly a 1/4 tank... Does anyone know how this can be fixed to be more accurate?
