If I unplug the 02 sensor should the engine light come on (d16y4)?

yes it should do, mine came on in my teg when it was unplugged

from memory should be fluctuating between 0-1v... best measured with analogue multimeters as the pins are obviously more sensitive to fluctuations..

alternatively this is one of those things you wish you had the obdII scan tool for lol
