Type Ti ??? Are you missing the V and the r ?? lol most likely VtiR..

There's only:

GSI:
Engine:B18B 1.8L DOHC Non Vtec
Power:140bhpish

VtiR:
Engine: B18C2 1.8L DOHC Vtec 170 bhp

Type R:
Engine: B18C7 1.8L DOHC Vtec 195 bhp

For more information please use the "Search Button" and search for "Integra VtiR"

Hope that helps friend..

dude... u are one lucky man.... your car is probably a personal import by someone from japan once.. (first owner)...

The engine inside however is hardly decent for making huge power.. as its not a B series.. Your engine looks to be carby as well.. I estimate an output of ard 120 bhp or less ?? NOt sure about the D16 engine...

Other than that.. the car looks really sweet.. JDM looks !!! you saved yourself 3k++ on a conversion job !!! IF you have the Dough..$$ spend it on an engine conversion to a JDM B18C to add power to your looks.. a engine + gbox conversion would probably cost you around 7-8k .. depending on where you go to dude..

AUDM refers to the 4 bug eyed front of the DC2s you see in Australia in general..

wow would you look at that... to my knowledge, the only thing labeled 'Ti' from Honda was the Legend turbo. quite ingenious design actually, have a read: called a 'wing turbo'. basically a set of 'wings' remain open to allow exhaust gases flow through without any resistance. at a certain point, the wings close to force the gases to strike the turbine blades to gain boost. i think the purpose was to diminish the lag that occurs with turbo applications. i gave a pretty simplified explanation so please dont flame me for those that kno more...

EDIT: yes, there is Integra Ti but to be honest, its a little weak...

Displacement: 1590cc
Engine model: ZC
Max power: 88.26kw/120ps @ 6,400rpm
Max torque: 144.16Nm @ 5,000rpm
Engine type: 4 Cylinder SOHC, 16 valve
Compression ratio: 9.4:1
Bore: 75mm
Stroke: 90mm

Also, you have drum brakes on the rear as opposed to disc...

My friend.. you have no idea how lucky you are.. lol .. it depends on what you're looking for.. all looks vs performance ? Ur current engine would probably last you 500kms per full tank.. while a JDM B18C type R would last slightly less.. depending on how you drive.. FUel economy on a Type R or anything with vtec suffers mostly cos of the addiction to Vtec goodness that we so enjoy... :)

Visit your local wreckers and check out with your local vehicle licensing authority if such an engine conversion is legal and what sort of paperwork would you need..

Otherwise.. you'll have a very mean piece of machine with JDM .. (Japanese Domestic Market) looks and power to go.. which ALOT of us have to spend loads of $$ to achieve both.. 10k+ for us... 7k+ for you .. or less..
