HEADERS FOR B18c2

hey guys whats the best recommended size of headers.... including exhaust system 2 inch? or 2 1/4

I use 5zigen headers 4-2-1 which have a 2.5" collector. I use a 2.5" highflow magnaflow cat and then we used flanges to taper down the flow to 2.25" which is the size of my fujitsubo catback. Its nice and quite.

I found that from my system the car is very torquey throw low and midrange compaired to stock. With alot more response throughout the whole range.

You can get 4-1 headers with a larger catback which will be louder and will be making more top end power forsay.

with the header being 2.5" then tapping down to 2.25 is that bad in any way? would it be like 'bottle necking' in anyway?

We didnt just make it go 2.5---2.25" we tappered it down so the flow was smooth.

Remember tho, this is an exhaust where the gases are being forced at high speeds the smallest error really wont make that much of a difference.
