i have replaced my OEM shift knob. i am having troubles when shifting and the knob moves like its being removed or attached. i am thinking i need to get me a locking nut? or is there an easier way of it holding it in static position? cheers

is it like momo ones where it comes with different size rubber caps?
you gotta use the right one so the knob pushes down tightly.
then there's 3 small bolts that you screw in aroudn the edges so things don't slip off.

Is it a 10mm threaded gear knob?
Just get a 10mm sized nut.

its a Vision gear knob and yes its one that screws on. size being 10mm. i thought the locking nut would be a special one for knobs. but if you have tried it and works then ill give it a shot. do you need to put the nut in the knob first or do i just thread it all the way down the neck of the shifter then put on the knob? cheers for the help guys, appreciate it woooo
