b16 header on a B18c7

hey i just need help on something,i want to buy a new header and i saw a spoon one but its for a B16a engine.can that fit since they are both B series engines or do i have to get something?

prove me wrong - but some if not most headers designed for the b16a will not fit the b18c7 engine due to height differences and sump differences.

It might fit but the header will sit up against the sump. This will cause premature ENGINE FAILURE.

B18c blocks are 6-7mm taller then b16a blocks.

cos i found a exhaust that i want from the states but it titles as "JDM TRI Y CIVIC INTEGRA HEADER B18 HYTECH B16".do i trust that?

To be on the safe side, I say get headers that are made for the b18c, plus it will fit much better since their made for it.

xforce headers from trader felix said he hsa got customers that have fitted b16 on b18 ek.

should i jsut swap'em from b16 to b18s to be safe?

Theres so much b18c stuff out there.. i dont know why you'd wanna take such fitment risks and skimp out by buying something suited for a b16 instead.

Buy the right thing the first time round.

Also with some of them, with you having a dc2r, you will have to mod the transmission brace or change it to a vtir item.

Any B header will physically bolt up to a B head. The B16 block is around 7mm shorter however, so where it curls around the sump might be a problem (not sit close enough to the ground).

ask felix, i'd say xforce only make one header for B series and they are in fact b18 headers.

xforce makes b16 and b18s headers b18 bottom half is taller but the top is the same..
