1999 Civic Vtir - Em1 problems...

1. For my 99 em1 civic, every time when i just start up, the car shock at the front and rear...sounds like someting lose, noise like metal shock especially when i push the clutch pedal in and up to the fraction point...the car shock more and bigger noise from shock.
whats this chould be?

2. also, i need a inside sunrrof visor (that pull thing), ppl know where can i buy that? coz most of the em1 dont come with a sunroof.

3. what does em1 share most of its parts with? ej8's or ...?
does em1 share a same airbox with ek4 vtir and all the othere b16a civics?

it shares most of its front body parts from the Civic 99-00 hatch/sedan. However for the rear bar it's only sedan. the ej8 rear bar will fit but it's different look. i think thats it. the interior is different I think.

1. something is loose - such as exhaust piping or heatshield.

2. go to a wrecker near you and get the pull thing off a ek with a sunroof

3.the em1 shares most running gear (engine , suspension etc) with the EK4. The body is mostly the EJ8 .

so any ek with a sunroof has a same size with that pull thing? dont have to be ek4?

If the whole engine and car are shaking when you start the engine, then you might have a worn or broken engine mount. Check that out visually.

is the em1 share a 100% same factory airbox with ek4 vtir and is that straight fit in?
need this to be confirmed coz need to get this done shortly. gona to buy a ek4 factory air-box.....

yes. exactly the same as ek4.

it also share the same airbox as EK1. not the intake arm though. different size

yeah sound like your exhaust is lose or something. my friend had the same problem.
