yes yes im new and you might tell me to use the search button but im gonna be getting my reds in a month and i've been searching for an ek and found a nice 99 model but rta law states that engine mods have to be within same year of your vehicle but say the b16a was made for 96-99 models does it mean i can do a swap into the ek?
plus since im gonna do a swap that is if i can should i just go for a b16b for more power? or is that just a waste of 3k

appreciate the help been reading the forum for awhile and yeh cant make my mind up on b16a b16b or a b18.

you can swap anything that is newer and less than 15% capacity increase , without any need for engineering of any type.
So a B18c2 , b16b or b18c7 from other models can be used.
