what i found is if i disconnect the rca cables the noise dissapears from the front speakers( this is where the noise originated from ) if i swap the rca with the rear rca, the noise is still there...and its all from the back of the head-unit

if you are not getting noise when you unplug the rca's i dont think it is your earthing. A couple of things it might be is that your rca's are running too close to your power wire or some other powered cables in your car which is likely to introduce noise into them. It could also be that your rca's are just crap. It could also be that because your head unit is grounded at the front and ur amp is grounded at the back (i assume), that there is slightly different potential at each of these locations, so essentially uve got two things that think that they are running from the same ground, but in fact are not which is likely to add a dc offset to the signal causing noise (ive never experienced this in any of my installs, but it is possible i guess). The only way you could fix that is if you ground your head unit and your amp to the same point on the chassis. To test for it you could just run a voltmeter between the head unit and the amp ground and see if there is a voltage drop. Or it could come down to your head unit outputting a noisy signal (which im not sure what you can do about, apart from replacing)
