tell me if someone can help...i changed my steering wheels so i had to put a boss kit on...with doing this now my 4ws doesnt work.

who knows whats going on???

Prob been covered before, but..

You've removed the stock one, which has a steering wheel angle sensor. It's needed in order for 4WS to operate.

IMO - sounds like a good time to lock up and sell off that 4WS unit and go 2WS....

I've got an aftermarket steering wheel and my 4WS works, you just need the right boss kit

Unless I re-start the car soon after switching off. Still trying to figure it out, maybe temperature or charging issue. But that's another story altogether.

3rd gen 4ws and 4th gen 4ws is diff.. 4th gen uses a computer and electric motor so the sensors are inportant. 3rd gen is a mechanical system sp more robust.

Here's a pic of the box the boss kit came in, maybe it'll help you track one down.

Can't remember how much it cost or where it was sourced from, it's was nearly 5 yrs ago.
