Im sick and im bored and ive been thinking about putting a CAI on my car which is carbied. I was gonna take out the air filter out of the airbox and put a pipe with a pod filter or something on, but was wondering if it would be the same?

what kind of carb'd setup is it ? side draft ? top loader ?
IF i was you...and bored like you...i woudl simply try to run a nice pipe to the filter itself - due to issues with atomization and fuel flow i have been told , its best to run the stock location for a air filter on a carbied car ?!?

Just get a hi-flow fitler, and run a nice cold air feed to it from the bumper etc !

its a top loader carb. their is a place for a pipe to be attached from the airbox to the front grill area which was missing when i bought it. I was just gonna run a pipe to their but instead of attaching it to it, slap a filter their for that rice factor.

i need to at least replace that pipe, and give my baby some cold air.

Whats with the atmoziation?

I know it aint the place but if neone reads this and knows it can they direct me. im gonna paint my rocker cover, calipers and drums and airbox and need to know how.
