I think they both look great, and on the performance note, depends what you're after. Ive been told by a few track going people that 15s with medium textured dunlops would be more suited to track days rather than lower profile tyres which you'd find on a 16" rim.

Im personally in the same boat and am looking towards the 16" rim as I find a 15" rim very small and if I do choose to change to larger Endless calipers I'll need the clearance

he's talking about an EG, right?

15" semis are easier to find and much cheaper

if you want the look go 16" or higher

^ not always cheaper mate... id say for a good balance between looks and performance id go 16s. but work rims look sweet on a jdm eg... depends how ur car looks as well id say...

generally speaking 16's are usually wider so they are better for traction. 15's are lighter but i think the extra width on a 16 is a better trade off for weight

I'm in the same boat but I've already got ITR calipers..

EK 15" rims clear ITR calipers and that's more than likely what I'll be buying but just for track/ 1/4 miles days coze I love the look of my 17"

15inch with good semi tires like toyo R888. Have a look at koseis K3 which are lightweight and good priced, Buddy Club and Rotas as well.

iv had 15 and 16's on ... personally prefer the 16s for bigger look.. but if u wanted to have some dope offset rims and slamming it .. then go for 15's :P

15 inch will be better for performance and cheap for tires too, as the car is small you can get away with it not looking to small. But if you are concerned with the looks then 16 inch is still good as you are still going one size smaller than your current 17inch.

Any of you guys got pic's of your eg's with 15", i just want to see what the ride would look like. Becoz since im on 17" dropped, that means with 15" my car would look like its slammed ryt?

wider does not always mean better traction. the higher profile from a 15" tyre wud give u better traction on launches

I would personally go for 16, but thats just me. much better look.
I have 16 with full slam gives better/ meaner apperance.
