yeah I know im mad XD haha but my 96 Civic sits at 120mm atm which is legal here i think but i find it hard to clear stuff.. like when i have 1/3 other people in car i bottom out over speed bumps and such.. what can i get to fix this problem??
either something to prevent the car lowering when more weight is being put in(i am getting a custom boot soon and 20kg of dynamat =o) i just want my ride to either stay FLAT at 120mm OR raised to 150mm/175mm ( I have a low body kit =o )

what are my options for ride raising =) thx guys

1st thing u need to tell us what sussy setup ur car is using...otherwise it's hard for us to give suggestions...

are you running stock springs?

looks like your bodykit is making your car lower...

get bigger rims?

as mentioned above need to know what sussy, e.g. if your running springs with low rate, obviously more weight is easily going to make the car lower.
either, get rid of your bodykit, or using higher spring rates, or raise the height higher so you wont have the problem.

i was thinking bout getting rid of body kit but i am going for a show car look and it is good for that.

I got Ohlins Suspension =)

1. Get adjustable suspension
2. Get different springs
3. Get bigger wheels
4. Remove bodykit
5. Reduce weight

6. sell the car and get a 4WD

no I dont want no damned 4wd XD its ugly haha Hatchbacks are not :p

umm well bodykit is staying, More weight is going into it(hence why i need something go give it more height for wen i throw more weight into it) so the springs are what has it lower i am guessing?

Whats best bet? go to a mechanic and ask to get the car heightened by like 1/2 inches??
If not what suspension and springs ( would that be a coilover? ) would i want to look at getting?

7. Get some slimmer friends
8. Take it easy over speed humps and bumps
9. Check to see if your Ohlins are blown or not and have them serviced, possibly new springs as well.

yeah I will be getting car MAJOR (100,000km) serviced at honda in bout 3 weeks or so so then I will get them to look at it all. also atm with the body kit it sits at 120mm all round . .
So wen i take it to get serviced and chex'd out ask them to throw new springs on to raize ??

Raise your car by getting stock springs or getting springs of the same height but stiffer spring rate.

would it be worth it getting Coilovers?? like Buddy Club N+ ??

all i really want is the car raised 1/2 Inches to allow for good clearance and NO scrapping of the bottom of body kit and also to allow for wen i get custom fibreglass boot =o

If all you really want is 1/2 inches for clearance, then no, it is not worth getting coilovers for $1800-2000. You're better off getting stock springs for cheap or taller/stiffer springs for $300-500.

yeah thats what I said XD

Hatchbacks are sexy beasts :P i love the 3 door and 2 doors rather then 4 door sedans =\

Ok kool thx mate I will get springs changed, Just tell the mechanics wen i get it serviced that i want new springs to change ride height by adding 30mm ?

No, you should choose the springs yourself and not rely on a mechanic who services your car to pick the correct spring.

ur car will look ridiculously fugly with a bodykit and massive gap in the wheel arch if u raise it. just dont take them speedbumps at 50km/h

10. Gutter the rear interior so u dont get anymore fattys in the back.

CivvyCloud

XD haha I am actually thinking of removing th rear seats cause i mean they are useless haha :P who needs rear seats haha and putting in a fibreglass box having the amps where the rear seats were and subs in the back against the hatch lid haha :P

No need for rear seats and i usually only have 1 person with me anyway . . or maybe i should keep the rear seats just have the the amps build into the seats XD be uncomfortable haha but im not riding in the back haha :P this will be good if i deicide to pick up some poonani haha :P

i dont like the ride atm it is too bouncy.. I will just get stiffer springs, if i have really stiff springs car wont be dropping will it if i go over speed bumps and wat not? it just clears now with these dodogy bouncy springs on =/

Stiff springs
1" ride height (thru springs??)

??

This will be enouhg for wen i got people in car and the fibre glass goes in yeah? cause i want that extra inch just in case and also to help me fully take care of those higher ramp things. Sunny coast has some bodgy roads aye and road work everywhere -_- not too mention stupid ramps and speed bumps haha it is like "hey you want to drive ur car here? WELL TOO BAD!! get a 4WD" haha XD damn them
