ek cluster - wt/temp broken

noticed my water temp gauge dosnt move. ever.... its glued there at just under half way. so i have removed the dash, taken the cluster all apart and noticed the following...

the fuel was screwed onto the circuit through its 3 metal holes but the water temp was screwed onto the circuit through 2 metal and one plastic holes...

is this how it should be or should the temp gauge also be connected through its three metal wholes (there are 4 holes on the back of the gauge to screw into, 3 are metal one is plastic) and whoever tampered with my dash put it in upside down

Why was the dash/cluster taken out?

Not sure about the holes, but i'd make sure your Water Temp sensor is not faulty.

you know of any way to check if its faulty? or which holes should be screwed in

maybe u can try a friends cluster, then you will know if its the cluster, or the sensor.
