mine's kinda dodgy but i got some special foam material from clark rubbers and made a box out of it.. seems to do the job :)

Take a picture and show me please! Dodgy is what im after! haha.. i just want to know the similar shape i need to cut out and where to drill the holes etc... as dodgy as i am i'd prob just use a thick plastic and just cut that! haha flexible and easy to tie on.. AND light weight! RICE!

Haha thats one impressive heat shield, may as well extend it around under the exhaust and replace the firewall with it.

That looks prefessionally done.. very nice.. is it all one piece? Its given me an idea though.. have the wall.. and the roof of the shield two seperate pieces.. im sure that would make it easier to make.. not as much precise measuring needed..

More pics!

by the sounds of this thread not many ppl actually have one... and by changing your airfilter setup fore more air to incress power, is pointless when all it is doing is sucking in hot air from the engine..

lol -you fool!

....heat shields protect your filter from radiant heat, not hot air as stated somewhere above. This is neccasary bc of the very high contact between your air filter and the air going into your engine.

it sounds good... but now its filter replacement time... 240 bucks for 2 peices of kitchen foam
