hey i baught a set of NGK leads for my 93 Civic Si
the number i got off ngk website was RC-HE76 but when i fitted the leads the where to long stuck out of engine about 5 or so centre metres..:(
was wondering if anyone has baught ngk leads for there eg SI and if so what the part number was?..

mayeb the RC-HE73 which fits a VTI engine would be the go??. anyone no if this would fit? it's a SOHC engine mine DOHC. would this matter.

YES it matters
The d16a8 (your engine) has shorter leads due to the DOHC layout and vertical spark plug holes.
The vti engine , is SOHC and has banked spark plug holes....so the leads are actually longer.

i had exactly the same problem as you man. after much searching i found the correct part #. u should get RC-HE81. although this part number is for a DOHC CRX, it has the same engine as us. will be a direct fit man:thumbsup:

You could have just went to a Auto store and asked them lol, they would have given you the number as it's in that huge book.
