I think my Thermostat has died again WTF............

Driving hard over the passed few days and hit'n boost all day long..

Now normally the cooling fan kicks in hear and there but over the passed week I've not noticed it starting up...

Tried rev'n from under the bonnet to test and nothing,

Anyone got any ideas whats the hells going on?

the fan wont turn on as much if the weather is excessively cool (ie constant highway driving) - i doubt your thermo is failing unless it is a aftermarket item. Look at a OEM one if you can.
Either your fanswitch is faulty ,bad ground on the thermostat itself or another minor overlooked issue

dang it.........

Both switch and Stat were replaced less than a year ago

I've been moving things round under the bonnet so maybe it is a lose or ground problem..

Boosting all day long?
Are to trying to see if your glass engine is made from Pirex?

Check...
Is the car over heating?
Check coolant for level (both overflow & radiator)*
Check coolant for combustion gasses. (radiator)*
Check temp thermostat function
Check thermostat fan switch function
*If low, pressure test cooling system
*If pressent - compression test & leak down.

there shouldnt be any issues if the temp. isnt rising. Are you sure you just cant hear the thermo fan turnon ?

If the coolant temp doesn't reach the activation point of the thermo switch, then the fan won't come on. Although I can't compare my car with a turbo, when I fanged the car non stop using full throttle for 15 minutes on the track, the fan never came on because my coolant temperature was still below my car's 100 C activation point.

With my car it comes on all the time coze of the added heat for the turbo

Well I don't think its the thermostat but the fan switch...

Both bottom and top radiator pipes are hot so the water is moving round yeah?

Good,
Then pull the themo switch & test it.
You should get continuity @ 90deg.
(Just use a cup of boiling water & multi meter)
If not, replace it.
