Compatability Between 88 and 89 CRX??

Hi all,

I have a quick question, any help would be appreciated.
I had a late model 89 CRX that i wrote off, i have now purchased an 88 CRX.
Are most things compatible from the 89 version to the 88 version??
Gearbox & Clutch being the most important thing i want to change over.

88 and 89 are both pre-facelift so they should be fine.

I believe it should all be fine and compatible
