Hi there,
Does anyone have pics of a CL9 with fn2r 18" rims on it? I may be wrong but I believe the fn2r's come off the MY06/07 Civic Type R. I'd like to see how they look on a CL9 or CL7.
I was thinking of a set of Euro Sport 17" wheels for my MY06 Euro Lux but the idea of some genuine Honda 18"s appeals to me too.
Thanks heaps

FN2R wheels do fit as the member traumatized has them on his car atm.
They weigh a sh*t load though, approx 11.9kg.
Can't remember the link to where i found the weight.

Hi there,
The fn2r's look really good IMO on the Graphite Car. How much do you think would be reasonable to pay for a set of the fn2r rims?
What impact is the extra 4 kgs of weight really going to have in terms of my driving the car etc?
Thanks heaps

Extra weight will reduce acceleration and braking response times as more weight means more time to start/stop.
like comparing using a 6kg wheel to an 8kg wheel, lighter means less stress on driving it and also for the suspension assemblies (driveshaft etc).
some other person can be more technical.

hey mike star,
daz has summed it up pretty well, but honestly it very minor in my opinion, i haven't noticed a big difference in fuel consumption or anything.
in terms of cost it is really hard to say and i guess it will be up to you how much you want to pay, i got myself a good price i think, only thing you can do it bargain and only pay as much as you are happy to pay

Sorry to hijack the thread but I just picked up a set of FN2R wheels for my Euro to replace my stock Lux/Sport 17s and I was wondering whether it was worth getting each wheels balanced before fitting?

if its a daily driver, i wouldnt be worried about the weight of the wheels, thats my opinion,
if your scared its gonna affect acceleration or braking or whatever the issue is, customise 15's to fit on there
