Registering as a 2 seater in qld

jus wondering wat kind of hassles u need to go through in order to register ur 4 seater car as a 2 seater in queensland.

eg. requiring mod plate

i think you have to unregister your car and then re-register it again as a 2 seater.
so when you go and get your safety certificate make sure when the guy writes out the paper work that he wrote 2 in the box that says number of seats.

how hard are these to obtain? do i jsut go into the motor registry and say i want to make my car a 2 seater they give me paperwork to fill out and thats it? or do i have to go get like a safety check and all that bullshit?

i've jus heard many stories thats all. would like to know wat others are doing to legalise the 2 seat factor. mod plate for sure will cover this but is there any other alternative way? this might be better dicussed in the technical section if mod wants to move it
