hey guys

ive noitced since i owned my car when i take off, or send some power through the front hubs, i hear a "click" noise..

it comes from the drivers side, and ive also noticed how it seems to be undoing my centre caps as they are bolted in

i think I might have a loose bushing or something around the hub area..
it doesnt click constantly or click around corners.. so i dont think its the CV or driveshaft..
does anyone know what it could be?

Thanks

TBH I'm not too sure, I just asked my father then who's been a Mechanic a good 25 years lol..

he said on the CV joint, there is a Bolt, and a locking nut kinda thing, with a pin.

The pin isn't on properly / something like that.

I find him hard to understand at times. He looses me quick.

as far as i know theres no split pins in honda shafts
they only notch the end so the spindle nut stays in place

maybe the driveshaft sticks out too far stopping your center cap from screwing all the way thus its not actually tightening up, just stuck against the outboard joint end
the vibrations and rotational force is probably whats loosening the center cap nut

my guess is the click is actually caused by the brake pads having some kind of minimal movement

hmmm.. Could possibly have a loose Spindle?

^ could be, they don't loosen up that easily though(you'd know if you've ever taken one off)
no harm in taking off the cap to check though

Bearings also make a clicking noise when needed to be replaced.
