fresh out of the box idq 10 rattling????

hey i just got around to connecting my idq 10 today. On the trial run, there is a rattling noise coming from the top of the woofer as it lies horizontal. However, tilted the cone towards the rear of the boot, the rattling stops. Could it be that there is mechanical fault with the sub or is this sub designed to operate only in the upright posistion.

woofer new, purchased from a store recently? if you answer yes then the best place to ask these questions would be the place where you bought it from not a forum as i doubt there would be anyone one from ID here.

could be tinsel leads slapping if your driving it to hard? or if the box isnt sealed around the woofer it can sometimes appear as if its rattling, where as its just air leaking from round the sub... but like icacha said take it back to be checked out
