New DVD Head Unit

wad up guys, just installed a new flip out single din kenwood head unit yesterday, and it rocks, the sound quality is really good.

execpt i cant watch dvds at all, the screen doesnt show up.

does anyone know were you connect the Parking Sensor Wire so you can trick the head unit thinking its always in park???

with mine, although not a kenwood, you just earth it, and it activates the screen. so its always on. it has a park brake bypass. some might be diff. try googling your HU model and maybe add park brake bypass wiring or something. hth.

Screw to it to earth somewhere or if your adventurous solder it to your handbrake earth wire and keep it legal.

with the parking sensor wire.. just earth it..

i tagged it up with the earth (black wire) from the dvd player/head unit itself.

that will by pass the handbrake thing.
