Not to sure on just the cluster fitment, but ive swapped a DC2 dash in my EG so can help with the wiring side if your stuck.

I'd try a search of www.honda-tech.com
The Americans have done everything.

dont think that many ppl around have done it and by the looks of it, its not a perfect fitment, if u know how to wire it up then just mount it in and see for yourself

It can be done. Seen it done here on a stock EG

(BTW the DIY dash swap thread is mine)

"Apparently once I rewire it everything should work the same appart from the fuel light because it uses a difference sensor. Just did a little test fit. Need to cut the cluster a little more but should fit fine at end."

No detailed pictures or descriptions but I think it is a simple case of trim it to fit the hole.

very interesting !! is it possible to get the fuel light to work at all ??

I would think that a DC sender would be similar to the EG one. Not 100% sure.

I would think the difference would be amperage / Voltage related so could possibly be fixed with some trick curcuit / resistor selection. Again wouldn't know without spending the time to sort it (Which I will be doing with my EG sedan soon when I find the time since I am running a full ITR dash)

Ohh and just to clarify only the fuel LIGHT doesn't work. The gauge does.

thats looks awesome , thanks very much for your detailed reply, although sorry but im not exactly sure what needs to be trimmed, does the eg cluster housing need to be trimmed or the dc2r cluster housing need to be trimmed????
thanks very much, looks good!

If you look closely at the first pic the plasic cover has been removed from the ITR cluster and the front edge shaved (look where you can see it past the surround)

As far as I know that is it. I will ask my mate for you.

hey damo46 putting a dc2r cluster into your eg can b pritty difficult, it all depends on how good you want it to fit in, if you want to do it prop, you may need to cut the steel above your steering rack , so that the cluster fits all the way back and flush with your dash , as the cluster is fatter then the eg , this interfears with the cars dondt, it can all be fun and games, another thing is that if your leaving your standered eg dash in and only replacing the cluster, the cluster is a different size then the standered eg4 dash , where the cluster goes if its the standered dash , you will see gaps around it , it also mayb hrder to secure it and stop it from moving around as the dash dosnt really hold it in place , if i was you i would go for the hole dash converstion, yea take abit more time and muking around, but jeeez it would look a hole lot better, but yea over all cluster will fit with the eg4 dash if you need help ill be happy to come show you how to do it , and i can do the wiring to
