Hi guys was wondering if i were to remove the spare tyres from the rear of my car, will it affect my cornering? Have anyone tried this before. Cheers. :D
Took mine out as soon as i got it. Made absolutley no difference whatsoever.... But haven't put it back in yet coz i figure the weight saving is a plus:)

lolz..i took mine out as well. Not because I don't want it there.. but because IT WON'T fit. My car came with a 4 hole spare tyre. WTF???? Anybody wanna sell me their 5 hole space saver?
and no changes to the handling. I think that amount of weight is negligible.

no champ it wont effect ur car performance, although less weight is a BONUS :)
the space saver hardly weights anything

i was always under the impression that u do not need a spare to be roadworthy.
if your spare tyre is not secured properly, then you have an issue.. well atleast thast what i read on the vicroad's website a while ago

Thanks man, will go get a tyre inflator can..........
they didnt check for a spare when i got my pink slip, so i assume it doesnt matter. ive had my spare out for a while now, because i enjoy the weight saving.... had my sub out to for atleast 6 months before i was conned to put it back in... damn i love the way it felt without that 50+kg
it might also effect the performance of the vehicle in an accident.
