Hi how are you guys? I just wondering any different between the EF civic headlight and EF crx one? Are they same?

isnt preface 88-89 where the high beam is a separate bulb
and 90-91 is facelift where it uses the same bulb for low and high beam.
the facelift you posted is a jdm front which is a diff story, it has longer lights and uses h4h lightbulbs

depends if its a EF8 or EF7. EF8 will have the facelift, EF7 will be pre facelift for the 89 model. 90-91 will be facelift.

with H4H bulbs, all i did was use normal H4 bulbs and take off the normal bulb brackets and made up a few "L" brackets to hold the bulb in place. not too hard to do, but very fiddley cos its a very small area to work with.

there is jdm, which are the longer ones

there are preface which are shorter and use two seperate bulbs for high and low beam

then facelift is the shorter ones, but use a single bulb for hi/lo beam

you can, but you need to change your front quarter panels,parkers, headlights, bonnet,radiator support bar, front bumper,indicators.

if you fit the headlights to a prefacelift, the bonnet wont close properly as they headlights are longer and wider than your ones atm. also they wont aline with your parkers unless you have a 90-91. then the headlights stick out further so you have a gap between the bottom of the headlights and the bumper. my friend has a facelift front with pre face headlights (accident) and theres holes/gaps everywhere.
