Rust On Springs

i'm looking into buying a set of ek9 shocks but there are some surface rusts on the rear springs.. is it ok to leave the springs with rust or do i need to remove them? will it affect the performance and will there be any danger using rusted springs?

its just surface rust
a very light sand and a coat of paint will solve it

no, rust wont affect the performance.

Ur clear to buy them. Like trism said. Sand them down and a new coat of paint will do.
