Hey crew ...

anyone got any further news on the Jazz Hybrid that i have been hearing about ?

I recently sold my jazz , but would be keen on buying one the new model if it came as a hybrid . As i prefer the styling of the Jazz over the civic and prius hybrids.

but IMO Jazz already is sort of small car, if it is hybird one, its power should be less than current model, i don't think ppl would like such version...just my thought

I was watching a video comparison between the Civic Hybrid and FIT Sport. The reviewers opinion is that the FIT Sport is a better car right now as the fuel economy savings from buying the much more expensive Civic Hybrid would only break even after 25 years of ownership!

The reviewer preferred the FIT Sport because it had more zip than the Civic Hybrid, cost less and saved a good amount of fuel as well.

Yes, it would have less power than a normal FIT, which is not a problem if you're doing city driving like you would if you were to purchase a Jazz.

that is a good point , but myself , when i bough my jazz , i didnt buy it for the power ;)

once the price is right , i would definitely look at buying a good used one .

y cant they just add an electric motor to the current petrol, the current petrol is a already close to a pruis if its just freeway work, so if it has the elec capabilities similar to the pruis, it would be amazing fuel wise.

I really don't warm to the new Jazz shape, otherwise I would seriously consider trading up to a hybrid once they're released. And it's true they can nearly match a Prius on the hwy, best I've got mine down to is 4.8L per 100km

The Jazz hybrid is going to come out after the release of the Honda Insight which is late 2009 and early 2010
