hi guys just joined the site never even new it was here lol i have a 1990 ls integra with the b18a in it and just wonder what ideas and what people have done in the way of diy mods. I have had a few ideas like removing that stupid heater line that runs through the intake plenum to meet adr rules and helps fuel efficiency why try get cold air in when all that does is warm it up again. But yeah any ideas would be great

its there for ur cold idle... its not going to do much difference if u take it off because the whole engine bay is hot anyways.

the typical mods for a lightly modified car are intake exhaust and cams....

there are plenty of them all avalible that can be made to fit da9s

its a common problem in da9s... u take it out and u should b able to fix it by pulling it apart and cleaning it out... sounds like ur dash is leaking water there is a mod to fix this aswell...

1990B18A: check out the parts for sale for random car parts you need, scour through the Integra topics or search a bit and you might find info on intakes, plus it will keep this thread focussed.

Just a tip but good luck

yeh he raises a good point there is countless threads that say what mods u can do....

in the teg tips on g2ic.com there is heaps ways of doing intakes and other things...

the best cheap mod u can do to a car is remove the resinator box under ur airbox. try that and c what happens

Get a grabbier clutch and lightened flywheel before you add any more power IMO - much more "racey" feel. Don't need to muck around with tuning that way either.

Exedy Heavy Duty is a great clutch... still light like stock but bites real nice, no shuddering (from what i experienced). Although now I am currently running a Exedy Sports Organic and I love it. The pedal feel on this one is quite heavy and it does shudder a little, but man it grabs well and it resists whatever you throw at it. So if you want a really sporty feel get the Sports Organic, however if you do a lot of stop start driving, get the Heavy Duty. Hope this helps

don't bother with cams on a b18a/b. Save up for an engine conversion instead. It will end up up setting you back $1500 and you wont get the most potential out of them without an aftermarket ecu which is another $1100 odd dollars plus tuning

well i got a super charger off a 4AGZE and was thinking about putting that on it just running like 10 pound through a small same side front mount to save excess piping i want to hill climb it so i just want so extra push. (DOES ANY ONE NO IF THIS HAS BEEN DONE ) I NO TURBOS HAVE BUT I LIKE SUPERCHARGERS POWER FROM THE GET GO

nah those superchargers r ok for 10 but i wouldnt use more... however the 1ggze superchargers off a soarer will b safer...

i dont think they have been done. u can get vortech ones there good u can get a full kit for them with intercoolers etc. those toyota superchargers r pretty robust u can put em on anything. the thing u gotta look at is the placement i dont think u would b able to fit it because there pretty long if u put them where the a/c compressor is it may interfere with the exhaust, the powersteering is the same. unless u make up an extension shaft to bring it closer to the drivers side.

i think u need to sit down look at ur budget and what other people r doing and then just do it. i havent looked back at the turbo. if u have to much hp straight up itll spin the guts out of it my car feels like a harder version of vtec but alot sooner..
