Hi all,
I've recently came across a good deal on a JDM ITR Bare head that has been further ported and polished and machined by 0.7mm to achieve 12.3:1 CR. I also have a good deal on a set of EK9 cams and gears, retainers, springs etc..
I was wondering if the stock bottom end of the B18C2 could handle such a configuration safely up to its 8200 rpm limit..
The combination of mods are as follows:
JDM ITR Head Pnp + skimmed 0.7mm ~12.3:1 CR (Quoted from seller)
JDM EK9 Cams
JDM EK9 Cam gears
JDM EK9 Retainers
JDM EK9 Springs
AUDM DC2 VtiR Bottom End (B18C2)~ approaching 190k+ kms
Also throwing in a Spoon high compression head gasket (2ply)
Be great if anyone could offer some advice on this set up
