hi everyone
just wanna know if DC2 and DC4 shocks and springs have the same dampening specs?
also the sizes of front and rear sway bar for DC2 and DC4?
i know DC2 and DC4 sussy will bolt up to eachother but im really after the tech specs of it. if its "softer" then ill be swapping out to ITR shocks, springs and rear LCA's. while im at it ill do the rear sway bar too.
cheers

i am not 100% certain but from the best of my knowledge, swaybars r:
DC2 front 24mm, rear 14mm
DC4 front 22mm, rear 14mm
ITR front 24mm, rear 22mm(''96 jdm), 24mm('98 jdm) and AUDM models.
i may be wrong but as far as i kno there is no difference in shocks and springs between dc2 n dc4.

really? there isnt any difference at all?
because i used to own a DC2 vtir and im confident that my current DC4 has WAY more body roll and the feel is a bit softer...
does anyone know if there is a difference between DC2 and DC4 suspension?
ill start the list:
- DC4 no front strut brace (dont think a strut brace would make a huge difference though)

Tyres are another spring in the suspension that when overly soft in the sidewall, give more perceived body roll. Nasty tyres make any car handle worse, always get the absolute best tyres you can afford IMO.
I'd rate the chances of a GSi having trash tyres higher than a VTi-R.

Are you asking about Type R or VTIR shocks and springs vs GSI? The Type R ones are different to VTIR and GSI.

i was referring to VTIR ones. definitely know that Type R ones are different (search came up with everything regarding TypeR ones.
however search hasnt helped me spot the difference between Vti-R vs GSi ones.
any help much appreciated.

mm interesting point. my GSi is rolling on stockies. might play a factor in it. im gna be getting new tyres soon. tyres will be going onto a set of 15" vtir wheels sitting in my garage for the last 2 years LOL. perhaps it'll prove different with nice tyres.
picked up a strut brace stocko front strut brace $20 too. anyone know what size bolt is needed to install it?
