Visit autobarn, and purchase some amber spray tint.

I found when using it, the first few coats come out yellow..

This is an easy way to do it, due to the spray on aerosol application.

Also, look into clearing the finished product for longevity.

If you are too worried about being light / it turning amber, go to a craft / hobby store, and order in some yellow tint spray.

it's a bit more expensive but atleast you know it'll come out yellow 100% regardless of how heavy you are with it.

did a search in the DIY section.

username playahz did a red corner tail light using vinyl that can be purchased at spotlight and perhaps bunnings for those who are interested

I don't think vinyl comes in a clear / translucent finish TBH...

Insted of editing the post, lol make another one.

Honestly, i think it's easiset to use the shit that's ment to go on plastics / glass and tint it.

My two cents :)

read in the DIY section, a user actually used the above 'VHT anodized metal paint' on his foggies and it actually turned out very well.

ive been asked by our fellow forumers about how I did my fog lights yellow. Well heres how I did it for $15! I dont have the actual pics on how did it but its plain and simple. Just spray it on the lens, no need to pull it apart.

i used this VHT anodized look metal tint paint . I got it from peps auto spares. most car shop sells this.

spray it on the lens about 5 coats depends on how dark you want it. each coat giving it 5 mins to dry. Thats it!
You might wanna spray clear coat after the last tint to avoid wearing out.

heres how it look...
