Hi,

Out of curiosity, was wondering who owns a Championship White DC5Rs on OH. Haven't seen many of them around Sydney or on car classifieds.

Much appreciated

Thats becouse the poeple who own them never want to sell them ahaah.

well generally people buy a Type R for the performance/corning ability of the car... not the paint color that pulls the chicks.

Note: there may or may not be sarcasum in that last sentance.

I want to buy a CW DC5R cause the CW DC5R looks nice. The performance and cornering abilities are a welcomed addition.

anyone got a side-by-side comparison of CW and pearl white for DC5?

I have seen the pearl white in real life, and the color seems to have a sort of yellow-ish tint to it, but in the photos, it looks like just plain normal white.

I have never seen a CW in the flesh before...........

also i think the guys that r keeping the cw dc5 wont in a hurry to sell it cos their price isnt high at all. *even lower after Mr Spoons comment* hahahah but who cares, i wont sell mine. love it to bits. still got heaps mods sitting there.

The color don't matter as they still look mint...lol...im gonna buy one but i cant seem to find a dc5r that is reasonably priced...
Nowadays, it seems though the sellers care more about their own pride (pricing ridiculously according to their own perception) rather than selling the actual car (taking them a couple of months to realise that no one would actually buy it for the price they think they can sell it for...LOL...funny in a way as you start noticing after a couple of months that its the same overpriced cars over & over again --> carsales...

i noticed this too, i was after a lux model 05-06 model, and ppl had them going for 29k and wouldn't budge, i cant remember how much they were worth at the time but i offered less and no one went lower than 1k...

thats why i went and got a type S from a dealer for much cheaper as the dealers are struggling these days :)

its what happened to me when i first bought it.
