hey all
im looking at buying a 97 prelude vtir manual with 175000k on it
it looks like it has been well looked after and drives quite well
question is, what should i look out for, common problems and if things should go bad in the future, how much would i be looking at for either a recondition of the original engine or buying a h22a4 with lower k's
thanks
tarquin

why bother recoing at 175k, thats silly. These engines will last until the 300k mark. mine is on 275k and is still very impressive and runs well.

i test drove a 5th gen (before i bought my 4th gen) with just over 300 000 ks on it, it was a manual v-tir and it was immaculate condition in and out, not a scratch and the motor ran perfect.
but he was asking 2 much for a car with 300 000 ks
