EK1 shock fit ej8 coupe

Was wondering if soemone can tell if EK1 shock will fit on an EJ8 coupe??

yes. ek/em/ej all compatible as evident with a tein coilover purchase stating compatibility with all three models.

gotta be careful about the top hats, i know my ek4 has little lipped bits on the tophat which didn't let me fit it into an em1 as a replacement

easy fix though, just switch over the top hats
just a pain because you gotta compress the springs, etc
