I have moved this here as i think its more of a handling issue then a noob question.

This morning on my way to work i was driving and notices a scaping sound coming from my front right wheel area when i corner to the left.

I currently have eibach progressive springs and KYB shortened shocks that have been on the car for a few thousand km's.

I doubt that it is my tyre scraping on the guard as the shocks are pretty firm and i have 15's.

Its not a constatr scaping sound when i go around a corner, it seems to happen once every rotation.

It will scrape...scrape...scrape depending on how fast im going.

If im going fast it goes scrape.scape.scrape lol

Anyone help me out

Bottomed out lately?

Maybe you damaged your splash guards and they have had enough of you?

Just a thought (had similar situation and the 80's kicked in)

take it to pedders for the safety check, dirt cheap, too many things

bearings, drive shaft, could be a belt or your altenator moving, soo many things

i had that similar problem
what i found out was that actually my tyre was not exactly perfect in the size of the side wall and would scrap every rotation under heavy cornering.

To help maybe make this more visible have a friend stand behind the car but still seeing the problem tyre and just drive away from him slowly and friend keeps an eye on the tyre rotation from rim to floor as it spins away.

hope that make sense.

have u checked your guards if they have any scrape marks inside? just to make sure its not your guards that are scraping.

Yesterday a mate and i went for a drive in my car. Found that the noise was on the passengers side, not the drivers side.

Took the wheel off and there was rocks stuck in the brake cover.

Took 15 to get them out, they were in there pretty tight and then all was sweet.

Thanks for the help guys.
