i had idle issues for a while. Fixed it by taking the throttle body off completely and going to town on it with carby cleaner and a toothbrush. Just be sure to wipe it all with a clean cloth when you are done.

While the throttle body is off, clean whatever is reachable in the intake manifold as well.

Put it all back together, do an ECU reset (pull the 15A ECU fuse and 7.5amp backup fuse in the engine bay fusebox for ~30 seconds) and you should be good to go.

yo~this morning i just clean the throttle by WD-40, it just turn off and i try to use the toothbrush to clean it a bit, because i dunno the way to remove the throttle body form the engine bay, so i just spary the WD-40 and brush it in there, after that i use the towel paper wipe inside around and the Rev low to 400-500~ then i give it a tune and the rev now go to 1100rpm, when i push to D4, it will go back to 800-900, it seems pretty good now~but the rev still shaking between 1000-1100rpm when i push to P or N, is it too high rev for my car? my car is D15B4 twin carby engine....

thanks all the brof give me the good suggestion~now the car form fully sick to recovering~hahaa~cheez

with the carby motor, idles only rough when the ignition timing is too far advanced. try swapping around the vacuum hoses attached to the vac advanced distributor (ie. you might have it set to advance at idle retard at full throttle - which is normal for most motors, but carbs need more advance at full throttle), or reduce the advance on the ignition timing a bit.
