How do you fix hazard lights?

i posted this question up before but people told me to go noob forum since i was new..

anyway my cars hazrads don't work.. like the indicators and brakes work well has it been plugged in wrong or something? does anyone know how to fix?

i have a dc5 and replaced the whole right front light for the car for 450 did i get ripped off?
