Aircon Compressor, are they all the same ??

Hi guys,

i have EG hatch, 02/93 with 1.5L Twin carby engine .. and i need new aircon compressor.. well, i can not afford brand new one !! so, i'm looking for 2nd hand but i'd like to know if they are all the same between 1.3L carby, 1.5L twin carby and EFi engines?

by the way, if anyone have one for sale, let me know.. i can pickup and prefer Syd, Newcastle or Central Coast area or will pay for the courier if u can organise one

he has aircon compressor off a '' D15Y " nose cut, will it suit my car ?

can anyone confirm that all compressor from D series motor are interchangeable ??

the d15y one will fit but u got to watch because in 92/93 they changed the sizes of the lines find out the year of the car it came off is

both lines the 1 from ur compressor to ur firewall aswell

Dude I have one sitting in my garage im in perth and if you came to pick it up i would give it to you for free otherwise if you live out of WA if you give me delivery costs and maybe 10-20 bucks for the effort ill send it to ya.

Btw my engine was originally a d15b4 Twin Carby and i used the same aircon setup from that on my b16a2 so it works fine.
