Comptech Short Shifter Install Problem

Hey all short shifter owners,

In the middle of installing the Short shifter now.....My problem and question is..

How the f%^k do you remove the white plastic bushing from the shift lever? (Step 9 in the Neuspeed install manual)

Its not as easy as using a 13mm wrench to gently pry it off.

Ahhh dont worry people...done it...as reference for future owners... use a flat tip screw driver and dig between the ss ball and the plastic bushing and use brute force!!
