Hi guys, just wondering what products you guys use to clean your tinted windows from the inside?


Water and a chamois or microfibre cloth.

what i normally do is just rinse it and then wipe it down with a chamois and then use a paper towel to dry it off.... i don't use any chemicals for my windscreen....

If you are forced to use chemicals, use one for cars that is tint safe. Do not use household cleaners.

my understanding is the ammonia in Windex will damage your tint... cant comment as i've never used it myself... Windex does have ammonia free product now anyway...

There are plenty of tint safe products out there so why risk it... I got a mate who is a tinter and he doesnt use it himself... must be a reason.

mircofiber cloth ftw. bit of water for crap thats on there hard but the cloth takes away finger prints even oily chip hands ones etc easy!

Yeah, I use the no smear glass cleaner (red bottle) with a glass cloth.

Does the job each time. Its free of the chemicals that are harmful to tint's

i use Meguirs too and it DOES smell like grape its unbelievable, makes me want to clean the windows all the time... :P

use screen cleaner that is safe for lcd's and plasma's - water based cleaner... nothing beats it - the cable brand "monster" make one. ive used it on the same tinted wondows for 3 years no problems.. use a microfibre cloth to wipe off
