D15 with d16 twincam head can it be done

I would just like to know if anyone has any idea if the D16A9 twin cam head go on the D15 injected motor, if it can be done what do i need other that gaskets, timing belt, and head
The reason i ask is that i want more power without putting a turbo on it or doin an engine conversion, i will be doin all the work my self as i am a mechanic:D

If you're keen for D-series power, you're most affordable and reliable bet is to get a hold of a D16Y8 half cut out of the Vti Civic, many around with low ks and heaps of life left

just buy the whole engine and put it in urs. try using a jdm d15b vtec, d16z6 or a zc dohc.

IMO opinion dude, decude what u want from the car, and how long u want to keep it then decide wat to do...
i have spent enough on my EG to buy an s2000...do i regret it? kind of... untill im behind the wheel of it :p
but what i mean is, you get carried away VERY easily then lose LOTS of money when u could simply buy a better car

you could perform the mini-me swap and take advantage of the better r/s ratio so as to set up a high revving project, why not a bisimoto oriented one!!

the only reason i see that this could be possable is look at the b16 and b18 they are interchageble then look at the nissan rb series and all the heads bolt on to all the blocks and also with toyota the 4a and 7a can interchage all blocks with all the heads no prob so this is why i think this is possable.
I will look at the manuals for both motors when i get my hands on both and see how different each one is.
Also can some direction towards what the mini-me swap is??

you can mate a D16y8 head to a d16y4 block to it can have vtec, that's the mini me swap, but for the money and considering you dont have the block, buy yourself the d16y8 motor and transmission

Best advice you could give to any modifier starting their journey! It should be mandatory (and natural) to know this already yet so many don't!
