I'm 90% sure I've a problem with my B16A2's TPS. Does anyone know if I can use a D16Y4 or Y8 one? Ie: are they D's interchangeable with the B's?

Oh,no way!

Swap the TPS,callobrate the voltage then see how that goes.

turns out i didn't need to!
beeza my car was not picking up light throttle. when i put my foot down a little bit more it would suddenly register the throttle position and lurch forward.
i didn't even know the tps was adjustable until tonight.
my tuner told me after he tuned it that my tps is on it's way out so i always assumed that's what was wrong but i got my voltmeter out, checked and adjusted and now it's all sweet
thanks anyway guys

Sa-weet!!

The Throttle Body and it's components are the least known about part on a car I reckon, yet it's the part that fails the most and needs the most attension.

man i hate the TPS.....I had a huge problem with that once, its fairly hard to adjust and im lucky i had the Power FC with hand held to show me the exact voltage whilst adjusting.

Are the map sensors and interchangeable too?

I assume the IACV would be different?
