No display with ignition or power??

hi guys jus b4 i pulled out my head unit to check for an accessory cable put it back in and now it wont work!!! checked the wires they were all good, done em again to make sure and still nothing.

i get power cuz i can eject a disc fine and also press the display button which turns on the head unit displaying the time but then it goes again.

its a JVC any ideas?

similar thing happened to me, also a jvc deck, jvc kd-avx1.
had power, but something went wrong with the plug for the ignition wire(?).
spent hours trying to find out what was wrong, but gave in at the end.
i just spliced the constant 12v wire so the 12v wire connected to BOTH the ignition wire and 12v wire.
only down side is, you have to manually turn off the deck when u also turn off your engine, so if u forget, gg to your battery.
maybe more knowlegable forums may give you a definitive solution,
but yea, just what i did, which is prob wrong but worked for me.

get a test light and see if it lights up with ignition on then turn ignition off and see if test light goes out and go from there if it dont work trace the wire bak or just get ignition from something else
