View Full Version : DC5 Integra, can i play my iPod thru the standard head unit?
The standard head unit on my honda has the CD/AUX button but i cant find an AUX cable hole to put an AUX cable in.
Ive tried the radio transmitted cigarette lighter ipod players but the sound quality is pretty sucky.
Anybody know of any products that work with the standard DC5 Head Unit and that sound as good as CDs? i rly dont want to buy a new head unit right now :(

I'm nearly 100% certain that the dc5r headunit is the same head unit as the base version. If so then no you can not plug your ipod with the stock head unit. Unless you have the double din headunit such as the dc5s.

The best transmitter I find is the Belkin Tunebase. Haven't had any problems with it and it sounds great.

gotta take out the little lid compartment out underneath first , then you should be able to pop the frame off
