diagram for fitting hids on dc2r??

wondering if anyone has a diagram or a photo of how they fitted there hids on there dc2.. trying to figure out how to connet two wires to bulb wiring.. its a xenon w35 brand i think =/

two connectors are spose to fit where the light connects to but the connectors are too big to fit in

alright,

i've had this problem before, the plug is bigger then harness ,

okay steps ,

firstly cut off the big head plug that wouldnt fit into the stock harness, purchase yourself some female crimps from supercheap/autobarn crimp them on with pliers, 1 female crimp for each wire would most proberly be red&black (2)

once crimped on, look at the car harness wires, there should be two cables connected to it, one of them will be a full coloured and other will have a stripe,

join the crimped red& black to its male pins in the harness, [ red= full colour / black = stripe ] once thats done, before testing anything, make sure your car engine is on, flick it on, wait 2-3 seconds & if it works perfect, if it doesnt switch the crimped wires around,


once thast all done, make sure you have some electrical tape, tape it up to keep it away from water damage,

Just a NOTE**

when having hid's always make sure engine is on before hids get turned on, there's something to it with the balast that can stuff up, in the long run,

did you buy the bulbs and ballasts seperate?

if you didnt then the connectors shouldnt be different sizes.

stupid sentence, but if youre trying to connect your ballasts to a normal headlight bulb please dont. or the other way around.
getting HID bulbs doesnt give you HID.

i got the seme problem b4 too did'nt know what2do got a mate to help me out, we just shaved the hid plugn sqeezed it through >=] i'll proberly fix it up how you explained tomorrow, thanks for information

Ohh hey can it be anytype of crimp? or does it have to be exact size

they have a variety of sizes, get what fits best in them pins & you should be fine,

ok turned out it was the wrong kit =/

got a proper one but now they didnt turn on once they were all connected.. and you cant connect anything wrong cause its only one way to connect all wires =/
