hi,
i own a 1994 vti-r dc2, im wondering if their is something is wrong wif my gear box because its stiff and changing 1st to 2nd in high RMP is a bitch. i've been told my mates that it might be the oil or syncros, what do you guys think.

If it's stiff even at low revs then I don't reckon it's synchros. Check fluid level in clutch master cylinder, and whilst you're at it check for leaks at clutch master and slave cylinders.

Dont waste your time with any of the above get your Synchros changed that is your answer!

A logical process of elimination starting from easily checked, and if needed, cheap parts is no waste of time

I had a simliar problem if not the same, had gearbox oil changed and wasn't stifff anymore
