Ive got a DOHC 86 zc brown top it has an auto box, i want to go to a 5 speed box does anyone know which manual gear boxes will fit ,do the d series gear boxes all interchange .

Generally, there's the earlier cable operated clutches, and the later hydraulic operated clutches.

Some ZC's are a bit special, they came with an intermediate shaft and equal length driveshafts which do not match anything else.

thanks nick , ive got a 85 civic and im going to put the 86 teg zc gear into the civic for a light hill climb car .
